Chennai, November 1 - Superstar Rajinikanth is competing with younger superstars and continues to work non-stop. He is currently shooting for director Nelson Dilipkumar's "Jailer", which is scheduled to release in April 2023. It is an action comedy, produced by Sun Pictures.## Recently, it was revealed that the superstar would be teaming with Lyca Productions to headline its two films, and now, it has been reported that the first film will be directed by Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Thalaivar 170 will be Aishwarya's third directorial and first with her father. ## "After making a successful debut as a director with 3 in 2012 and Vai Raja Vai in 2015, Aishwarya has been toying with multiple ideas for her third directorial. Mumbai, November 1 - National award-winning filmmaker Shekhar Kapur was working on his most ambitious project, titled Paani. Yash Raj Films was supposed to produce the film with Sushant Singh Rajput playing the lead role. ## The project came to light after the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput when Shekhar released the script of "Paani". It was put on the back burner after Yash Raj Films reportedly opted out. However, things now seem to be returning on track and the filmmaker is keen to revive the film. ## During a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Shekhar Kapur confirmed that he is in touch with producers to revive "Paani" and he is hopeful that the project will meet its sweet end. ## "Hopefully next year, but let's talk when everything is locked. It's a dramatic script about many relationships including a love story, and water is the key to the love story. It's a very spiritual story, for water is the key in every faith in the world", he said. ## Shekhar Kapur is currently focussing on the promotions of "What's Love Got to Do With It?" Hyderabad, November 1 - The superstars of the Telugu film industry seem to be in a lot of confusion of late regarding shaping up their future projects. There are many such films that were announced in haste but now, getting difficult to take them on the ground due to various issues. ## One of the films that were announced with much enthusiasm was Ram Charan's next with "Jersey" director Gowtam Tinnanuri, tentatively titled "RC16". It was announced before the release of SS Rajamouli-directed "RRR", which itself had been delayed multiple times before finally hitting theaters in March this year. ## Gowtam Tinnanuri's film was supposed to be Ram Charan's immediate next after later's currently on the floor "RC15" with director Shankar. However, due to the delay in "RRR" and now "RC15" is also getting delayed, Ram Charan is believed to be not interested in Tinnanuri's film anymore as reports say he is not fully satisfied with the script and that the project has been shelved. It was supposed to be produced by UV Creations.## According to reports, Gowtam's film which was to happen with Ram Charan will now be headlined by Vijay Deverakonda with UV Creations producing it. It may be announced soon and is expected to start production in 2023. ## There is another film that is on the verge of getting shelved is superstar Pawan Kalyan's "Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh" with director Harish Shankar. It was announced in 2020 and the title of the same was announced in 2021. The combo created magic with their maiden collaboration "Gabbar Singh" (2012) and since the fans were waiting to see them together and their wish finally came true with the announcement of "Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh".## Director Harish has been hyping his film with Pawan Kalyan and had said that "Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh" will be bigger than "Gabbar Singh" and raised the expectations of the fans. However, it is not easy to make films with PK nowadays because of his political commitments and this is the reason he is not being able to start shooting for new films. ## Despite Harish Shankar's continued efforts to keep the hopes alive of this mass entertainer, the future of the movie is looking blick. Chennai, October 31 - One of the biggest Tamil films of 2023, Thalapathy Vijay's family action drama Varisu has been in the red hot demand. The massive fan-following of Thalapathy and the fact that his low rated films have done huge collections at the box office, is tempting makers to set high prices for theatrical business.## "Varisu" is produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations and it was recently reported that he has been asking high prices for his two upcoming films, the second film is Ram Charan's "RC15". ## According to the latest post by Aakashavaani, except for Austrailia and New Zealand, all other overseas countries' business is closed for "Varisu". Overseas rights of the film have reportedly sold out for approx. Rs. 35 crores, which is the highest ever pre-release overseas business for Thalapathy Vijay's film. ## Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, "Varisu" will also be released in Telugu as "Vaarasudu" though it will be a dubbed version as confirmed by the director himself in a recent interview. The movie has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead along with Prakash Raj, R. Aswani Dutt had said that they are planning to release the film on Diwali 2023 or January 2024, and now, according to Pinkvilla, "Project K" is gearing up for a Summer 2024 release on the occasion of Eid. ## "It's a high-on VFX film, as the entire drama unfolds in the futuristic timeline. The team has created a fictional conflict of World War 3 in the film, and despite being a VFX-heavy team, the core USP of the film lies in the drama and emotions. They will take almost a year for post-production and VFX work and bring the film to the cinema halls in the Summer of 2024", reports Pinkvilla.## Vyjayanthi Movies, which is producing this one-of-its-kind Indian film, will complete 50 years in 2024 and as per reports, the studio taking this opportunity to celebrate its golden jubilee by releasing its most prestigious film. ## "The idea at the moment is to bring the film during the Eid 2024 weekend. It's a week full of Holiday as 2024 will see Eid, Ambedkar Jayanti, Tamil New Year, and Ram Navami falling in a span of 7 days", the report further said, adding that the tentative release date is April 10, 2024.## The movie has Deepika Padukone playing the female lead along with Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani in key roles. She also becomes the only artist to have five albums debut with over 1 million units sold in their first week in U.S. Nielsen history.## Midnights scores the third-biggest streaming week ever for an album, by total on-demand official streams (549.26 million). It also captures the biggest streaming week for a non-R&B/hip-hop album and any album by a woman. The makers are expected to make the official announcement of the postponement of this Om Raut's directorial in the coming days. ## "Adipurush" is currently slated for January 12, 2023, release on the occasion of Sankranthi. Recently, fans were left heartbroken after it was reported that Salman Khan has opted out of "No Entry 2" and the movie was reportedly shelved. ## The rumours about "No Entry 2" getting shelved picked the momentum after Bazmee announced his collaboration with Zee Studios for an action comedy film. However, the makers have been keeping mum about "No Entry 2", but now, Bazmee has made things clear about what is reality. ## According to the Times of India, the filmmaker has denied rumours about the movie and said that he is waiting for Salman Khan's nod to go ahead with the film. "I'm reading about the No Entry Mein Entry speculations and all this is news to me", Bazmee said.## "If Salman Bhai is willing to do the film, we will make it.
