Mumbai, June 4, 2021: Actress Kirti Kulhari, who was last seen in the Netflix film, The Girl on the Train, is all set to feature in back-to-back direct to the digital release, Shaadisthan. The trailer of the Shaadisthan - a road trip film, which brings two contrasting worlds which come together, was released on Friday. ## Talking about her character, Sasha, in the film, Kirti says she could instantly relate to it because she is an unapologetic, strong, and confident young woman who lives life on her own terms, strives to shatter stereotypes and isn't worried about being judged by anyone. ## The film follows the journey of four young and free-spirited musicians, a smalltown couple and their young daughter in a camper van, travelling from Mumbai to a small town in Rajasthan. It aims to deliver the message that being unconventional doesn't equate to being morally wrong.## Kriti said, "Shaadisthan is not only an entertaining movie but also holds a mirror to society and the conditioning it imposes on people and how people live by it as if it's their truth". ## Directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary, the movie also features Medha Shanker, Nivedita Bhattacharya, and real-life musicians Shenpenn Khymsar, Apurv Dogra, and Ajay Jayanthi, with Kay Kay Menon in a cameo. Mumbai, June 4, 2021: After ruling audiences hearts, Salman Khan's Inspector character Chulbul Pandey gets an animated avatar in "Dabangg: The Animated Series". But surprisingly, the superstar is not voicing the popular character in the show. ## Salman's brother Arbaaz Khan, who has produced the show, said that it is a completely different show from the movie and they had to make changes accordingly. ## "It's a different show and in a completely new vertical, we had to make a few changes to it. Also, the voiceover artists have done a fabulous job and have done complete justice to the characters. I am sure the viewers won't be disappointed", Arbaaz said. ## "The thought behind creating Chulbul Pandey was to make him a household favorite, and the biggest and most humbling compliment comes from the love this character has received from children. This inspired us to create an animated series based on Dabangg," he added.## Arbaaz further said that the series is an adaptation and reimagination of Dabangg. The action-comedy follows the day-to-day life of police officer Chulbul Pandey, who takes on evils to keep the city safe. Mumbai, June 4, 2021: Amid the controversy, Amazon Prime Video's original series, The Family Man season 2 dropped on June 4. Created and directed by the director duo Raj & DK, the show stars Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Sharad Kelkar, Shreya Dhanwantary, and Sunny Hinduja along with South Indian actress Samantha Akkineni in her digital debut. ## Samantha Akkineni's character, however, gave birth to controversy a few days before the show premeried. Mumbai, June 3, 2021: After the success of Stree, Bollywood seems to be looking for more opportunities in the horror-comedy genre for the last couple of years. After Stree and Roohi, there are few more films lined up in this genre with Bhool Bhulaiya 2, Bhediya, and now, there is one more film in this genre that goes on floors. ## Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies to bankroll a horror-comedy film with actors Riteish Deshmukh, and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles along with Saqib Saleem in a prominant role. The film is titled Kakuda and will be helmed by Marathi filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar. ## The shooting of the film begins on Tuesday in Mandawa, Rajasthan. The makers plan to wrap the film in a 40-day start-to-finish schedule. As you all know, it was earlier reported that Akshay will be starring in the sequel of his 2012 film, Oh My God with Paresh Rawal in the lead role, though there was no confirmation from makers. ## While the sequel of OMG is definitely ON, we hear that Paresh Rawal will not be part of the sequel, instead, versatile actor Pankaj Tripathi will play the lead role along with Akshay Kumar. If things go as per plan, this would be the second time Pankaj Tripathi will share screen space with Akshay. They recently worked together on the Sajid Nadiadwala production, Bachchan Pandey.## Umesh Shukla, who helmed Oh My God, is reportadly not directing the sequel. The new director is yet to be known. Mumbai, June 3, 2021: Actors Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani have been booked under sections 188, 34 IPC by Bandra police station for violating lockdown rules. According to the police, the actors went out for a drive without a valid reason.## On Tuesday evening, the two were stopped by policemen on patrolling duty at Bandra Bandstand. Shroff is a resident of Bandra (West), the police said. After making inquiries with the two, the Police learnt that the Baaghi 2 actors were out on a drive, which is the violation lockdown and FIR can be registered against violators. ## "An FIR has been registered on Wednesday under section 188(Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the IPC against the duo", said a senior Mumbai Police officer.## Meanwhile, Mumbai Police's social media handle, after registering FIR against the actors, advised people not to violate lockdown norms by mentioning Tiger and Disha's film's title in the tweet in a witty manner. ## "In the ongoing 'War' against the virus, going 'Malang' on the streets of Bandra cost dearly to two actors who have been booked under sections 188, 34 IPC by Bandra PStn. Ajith Kumar Receives Bomb Threat, Hoax Caller Identified

Chennai, June 3, 2021: Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar received a bomb threat call on May 31, however, it turned out to be a hoax, and the Chennai police has identified the hoax caller. ## According to reports, the threat call was made to the Chennai city police control room, in which the caller said a bomb has been planted at the actor's house in the city's Injambakkam area. The Police rushed to the actor's house but no bomb found after searching till late at night. ## Cops soon started an investigation and traced the caller named Dinesh, a mentally ill person who lives in the Marakkanam town of the state. Media reports also suggest that Dinesh was involved in making similar calls in the past to actors such as Rajinikanth and Vijay.## This is not the first time Thala Ajith received such threats. The actor had received such a call for the first time in 2014 which turned out to be false. Again in 2017, he had received a similar bomb threat that had caused. Last year in July too, he had received a threat call and police took immediate action in the case. A Marakkanam resident, Bhuvanesh, was caught and a case was filed against him for making the hoax call. ## On the work front, Thala Ajith Kumar will be next seen in Valimai, directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor under Bayview Projects LLP. Youtube Paid Over $4 Billion To Music Industry In The Last 12 Months

California, June 2, 2021: Video streaming platform, Youtube has paid more than $4 billion to the music industry in the past 12 months, according to a letter sent by Lyor Cohen, Youtube's top music executive (via The Hollywood Reporter). ## That $4 billion payout includes payments to artists, writers, labels, and others. Cohen said that 30 percent of that $4 billion figure went to creators of user-generated content. ## "Fan-powered videos have always flourished on YouTube, helping artists grow their audiences and break songs around the world", he wrote.
