"There's no controversy. I believe that when people love something so much, then you have to be extra careful. It is our responsibility toward the audience. The audience has given you so much adulation. You can't take things for granted", he said. ## He added, "So, I was of the opinion that sab saath mein aaye, mehnat karein. Aur kuch nahin. It is all resolved now". ## Paresh Rawal went on to add that Hera Pheri 3 will 100% be made and return to the big screen. "It was happening earlier also, but it's just that we had to fine-tune ourselves (laughs). After all, all of them are creative, be it Priyadarshan, Akshay or Suniel. They are friends for many, many, many years", he added. ## The franchise features Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal in the leading roles. Now, the fans are eager for this iconic trio on the big screen soon. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal will next be seen together in horror comedy, Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, who will also be directing Hera Pheri 3. The movie achieved the milestone on its 9th day. ## Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par has earned approximately 109 crores net in 9 days. It is the 7th movie of Aamir Khan and his first in 7 years to enter the 100 crores net. The actor's last movie to hit the milestone was Thugs of Hindostan. ## Sitaare Zameen Par is overall 131st movie in Hindi to cross 100 crores net collection. Interestingly, it was Aamir Khan's Ghajini, directed by A R Murugadoss, which was the first Indian movie to hit the hundred crore net milestone in 2008. ## Meanwhile, at the worldwide box office, SZP has grossed approximately 165 crores, which makes it the 5th highest-grossing Bollywood movie of the year. This is the first instance when the makers of any film have declared their movie an industry hit, after the opening day itself. ## While the intention behind such a gimmick is unclear, it is probably the silliest thing to do, as in reality, Kannappa will fall way short of the box office mark, which is required to become an industry hit. It is basically a self-trolling act by the Kannappa team, which is strange to even think about. ## As for the box office collection, Kannappa opened to around 11 crores gross at the Indian box office and around 13 crores gross at the worldwide box office. It is among the most anticipated Tamil movies of the year; however, what followed next shocked the trade. ## Released on June 5, the film met with poor reception from critics and the audience. This resulted in a shocking box office performance of the film as it finished below 100 crores gross globally, turning into one of the biggest disasters of the year. ## Before the release of the film, the makers showed immense confidence in it and even publicly announced that it would be released on an OTT platform only after 8 weeks of theatrical release, breaking out from the usual norm of a 4-week window that exists in the Tamil Film Industry. ## The 8-week theatrical window announcement secured the movie's multiplex release in the Hindi version, becoming one of the first major Tamil movies to have a multiplex release in Hindi in recent times. However, the poor performance of the film led the makers to change their plans. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, the makers have shortened the theatrical window of the movie to just 4 weeks to avoid further losses. The negotiations were made after Netflix, which is the official streaming partner of the movie, decided to reduce the OTT price of Thug Life. ## The movie was initially valued at 130 crore for OTT release, but the poor box office performance caused damage to this. It is said that Netflix was looking to renegotiate the price at 90 crore, but both parties eventually settled down at 110 crore for the digital rights, with a reduced OTT window of 4 weeks, as per Pinkvilla. ## Meanwhile, the reduced theatrical window has resulted in a breach of contract between the producers of Thug Life with the distributor and the national multiplex chains in North India. New Delhi, June 26 - Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming film Sardaar Ji 3 will not be releasing in India amid the growing controversy over the inclusion of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in the film. The movie will now only be released outside the domestic market. ## Ever since the trailer of the film has been released, Sardaar Ji 3 is facing the heat as many people and film bodies objected to the casting of Hania Aamir, especially after the recent Phalagam terrorist attack in which Pakistani terrorists were involved in the killing of 26 tourists. ## Many people expressed their anger after the trailer was launched and asked the government to ban the film. After scoring the biggest opening weekend for Dhanush and Nagarjuna, Kubraa is holding very well during the weekdays, and has managed to surpass 100 crores gross as I type this. ## In the first 5 days, through Tuesday, the film grossed an estimated 97 crores worldwide, including approximately 72 crores in India and 25 crores at the overseas box office. Mumbai, June 24 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's comedy drama Sitaare Zameen Par scored a good hold on Monday after the better-than-expected opening weekend collection at the domestic and worldwide box office with around 96 crores gross. ## Enjoying the superb word of mouth, Sitaare Zameen Par has topped 100 crores worldwide gross collection on Monday, becoming the 8th Bollywood movie of the year to achieve the feat. In India, the film has minted around 80 crores gross, while overseas collection is an estimated 30 crores, for the worldwide cume total of around 110 crores in 4 days. ## Needless to say, Sitaare Zameen Par is one of the surprise box office successes of the year.
